introduction
死んだら人はどこへ行ってしまうのだろうか。消えてしまうのだろうか。
京都で死者数万人、死体は山に置かれ、町の外には野犬が蔓延る―。
The film follows Kyoto during the Heian period(the 10th century). Tens of thousands dead, gutters filled with corpses, children abandoned in the mountains, and groups of wild dogs vigilantly watching outside the city.
